There have been numerous sightings of the Honey island Swamp Monster lately. It seems our local rum expert Boudroux went into da swamp and got into one of the honey nests. Seems the first layer of honey was good but the lower honey was a little fermented. Being a good cajun he is ,,Boudroux just took out most of da fermented honey and left some of the good honey for the bees.
Tasting it, Boudroux said hey this seems a little different and tasted it agin and agin. Before long he tasted all the fermented into an empty jug.

Well, along comes a possum. He sees the newly raided honey nest and helpes himself. While doin that boudroux thought , " Hey i need some more of that old honey. He climbs up. reaches in and unwittingly grabs a handfull of Possum. In the lurch his ladder slips our from underneath him. The possum jumps out into boudroux's face,,, With teeth bared and hissin the possum bites Boudroux's already bright red nose. Boudroux is hangin by one hand and swinging at ol Possum with the other. His hangin hand is attacked by da bees so he lets of the limb. Falling he breaks his leg on the ol cypress knee we all used to use as a boost up to raid that honey nest. Next thing he knows the old honey nest empties of its last remaining enraged bees. They all attack boudroux and sting him on da nose and face. Poor screaming Boudroux tries to crawl off but is confronted by ol' cotton mouth. Being weak of fang and low on venom due to his old age, cottom mouth bites boudroux again on da nose causing such a howl. Nothing on this earth has ever howled like that. It was the wail of the devil and only confirmed that there is a monster in da swamp. Oh my the swelling. Oh my the bee stings, oh my the possum bite, oh my the snake bite.

Not wanting to admit he befell such a accident Boudroux never admits his caper. And till this day the swamp monster is still thought to exist

Now, every one here saw boudroux and know he was atacked by the honey island swamp monster. Nutin in da world other than a monstor could ever cause a nose to look like that.

What about the two cows, standin' behind the fence, having a conversation about that?

Seems the one cow looks at the other one and says, "Hey, did ya hear about mad cow disease goin' 'round here?"

Then the other cow says, "Yea... but what do I care? I'm a duck!"
