My Hot Rod S10 was stolen. 355ci-375hp 700R-4, lowered, aluminum radiator, Sanden a/c, just put a new cam & guages in it. It has been a sign shop truck since new. I bought it from Signs & Things in Naples. It was their little customized shop truck for years. It had to have been towed because I have two hidden switches to kill the ignition and the fuel pump. No theft insurance. $10,000 & 1,000s of hours gone.

So sorry about the loss Robert. I know how you feel. It stinks when someone messes with someone elses' main ride.
In '74, I heard my straight axled, chrome shocked, 327 chevy powered, mucho deneiro invested '66 GTO start up and rumble away while in the shower. Never found it. Oh man, I still can't get over it.
I hope you get it back intact.

If you've got any pics to post, and can tell us any specific features to look for, put the info out and I'll keep my eyes open up here. I hit alot of car shows in the summertime, and that sounds to me like the kind of ride someone steals to drive, not to sell.

Bummer, don't give up hope, they do recover them sometimes. I had a brand new Z-28 stolen in 85, they found it a week later non too worse for wear, had just enough scrathes on it I got a complete paint job out of the insurance company.

It was not a car you can just joyride and dump. I think they wanted the engine, trans, interior, etc. It was so custom (the tailgate was welded and smoothed, filled tail lights, custom tail lights in the roll pan, etc.) that even if it was repainted I could spot it a mile away. The stripped body may turn up one day though. Maybe not.
