If you are doing a project for the company themselves, then I would ask for a formatted disk with the logo on it from Head Office and you will get what you need.
Don't go through all the trouble of re-designing if they have it. Most companies will have a standing logo in most formats for Graphic/Sign Companies to reproduce their image when needed.
