A woman woke up in the middle of the night and found that her husband was not in bed.
Getting up she look around the house and found him in the kitchen staring at the wall crying.
"Honey", she says, "what's the matter ???"
The husband replies, "I was just thinking ... do you remember when we were sixteen and just dating ?"
"Yes", she says, "I remember."
The husband asks, "Do you remember the time your father caught us in the back seat of my car making out ?"
The wife, with a small smile on face says, "Yes I remember."
The husband asks, "Do you remember when your father stuck a shotgun in my face and said 'you'll marry my daughter or I'll send you to jail for twenty years'?"
"Yes", says his wife very softly.
The husband, with tears streaking down his face, shouts "I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN OUT TODAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
