Its been a really wierd winter. Not the weather... that's been pretty normal - fairly mild with a bunch of sunshine (and the normal rain too).
Business wise it was the toughest I've been through in a long time. And not because I didn't have any jobs or cash flow.
Its just been a winter of tough breaks... wonderful things on the thresh hold of happenning and then falling through at the last possible moment... and lots of potentially great design jobs never made it past the talking stage... one project I have been working on for years went horribly bad... and long held dreams had to be put on hold once again.
But in the last few weeks I've gotten some great imaginative design jobs. I have a number of wonderful clients who are easy on the brakes as we work up ideas for their projects. I started a couple of good sized projects which have been in design for quite a while. (it feels good to pick up the tools again) And I was awarded a local mural which should be fun to do. We continue to dream on our own ideas and take little steps to realize these dreams.
We are looking forward to a wonderful summer!
Life is a rollercoaster and I love the ride!

Is your mini-golf adventure land open yet? The time has to be getting close. When it happens you are gonna be so busy you won't know which end is up.
About your time off or lack of good jobs, I enjoy it while I can as I know the tidal wave is coming. This has been quite an educational experience having my own sign co and seeing the roller coaster. I would have never imagined it but 3 weeks you are on fire the next your hitting the streets.
Hope to see you again when you are so busy you won't even recognize me Have a great day!
