heres a quick one I drew up custom for "Madd Artist" >>>> artist
seriously, the portfolio page is where we do the critiquing, and idea swapping on logo's. posting a photo is easy: first the photo has to be on a website somewhere out there in the web. Then, copy the address of the photo, go to the bottom of the reply page here and click on the button that says "image" paste the link in the new window. I have had some trouble finding a place to post the origonkal photo some one else might know better.

Brings up visions of a gaunt visage with a severely deranged expression, disheveled hair, with a beaker ( with boiling paint in it of course) in one hand and a brush in the other. Maybe E=MC2 in the background somewhere.
Draw it deeude and post us a pic!

It works ok most of the time, is fairly easy to figure out, and - seeing that we use it pretty much only for posting pic here - is nice that it is free.
I have my photos saved twice - once in original size and a second time smaller in size and about 100 dpi. I try to keep them under 100kb so they are easier to email and to post.
There is an image button underneath where you type in to post. I usually will have the photo I want to post up in another window. Right click on it and hit PROPERTIES. Hi-lite the entire address.
Hit the IMAGE button under INSTANT UBB CODE and paste the address there. Here's what happened when I did:
Oh... and it's a photo of Bruce with Bert sleeping on his shoulder. Neither one of them were constipated at the time... heeheehee

Oh... and another of my little reference/example thingies...
I am a silver enthusiast at AskJeeves site (Ask Other People - under Home & Garden - Pets). I can usually spot right off the bat kids that are asking us to basically do their homework for them. They don't learn anything that way.
I either post a few sites where they can do research, or ignore the posts all together.
I understand how easy it is to get a mental block when designing something for yourself (hey, my shop's name was Sign-A-Saurus...) but at least sit down and get something out with some idea that passed thru.
Once it is posted on the portfolio page, you will be much better received as someone asking for critique and suggestions, rather than perceived as someone asking for it to be done for them (notice the word PERCEIVED... not to be confused with the actual reality.)
