Howdy folks this is timi at Myra's shop. We have been bangin' our heads against the wall here looking for a driver for the Vinyl express ultra pro grc-61 24" plotter for casmate ver 6. We have found windows printer drivers for corel,...and have documentation that specifies that we need the signpal driver for this plotter. Does anyone out there have the machine driver for casmate 6 signpal/ve/gcc or any thing that anyone knows of to make this plotter cut from casmate 6.

There's a good chance that the driver for ROLAND plotters will work...namely any of their 24" models. Check the ROLAND site, it may be available there for download. www.rolanddga.com

Myra,

Go into your setup file under Misc and select the "GRC" plotter from the available list on the left. Select "add" and it will install the necessary driver for your cutter.

Always a pleasure!

Have a great one!

We found a plotter driver that works like the roland drivers for window what we need is the plotter driver Bruce is talkin about. If anyone out there has the grc file that is in that left window . If you have the updated driver files for casmate it would be a godsend to us Bruce as we can get the plotter to print from windows just not get it to cut from casmate as we don't have a driver database with the grc files included.

It is probably named grc61.cfg or something very similar. all the other plotter drivers are named whatever.cfg in the caswin folder. the driver may however be on the cd that you install them from.any help will be appreciated as we can get the plotter to work in everything but casmate.

Ain't this site great!!!!!!! I try not to ask for much and then when it's only needed,......took 3 hrs and 19 minutes to find what " was not supported by any financial effort". Just the same if ya have faith all ya need is out there,....

nuthin like a global effort,...this place is wonderous,....
Do tha math,....199 minutes @ 1.00(usd) ea. vs
five years of lost work from a program no-one wants to gain any financial profit and or support.

A hellova lot less than an upgrade, which is not actually there,......less than the cost of buying the original program which has been discontinued, even if you could buy it at last years prices,...

nevermind the hourly
