Say I have a 1/2" thick chunk of (vinyl laminated) Omega board......I Edge print a picture of a riding lawnmower, apply it to the Omega board and then cut the board to the perimeter shape of the riding lawnmower.
What are the best recommended methods of "edge sealing' the Omega board to keep the water/weather from degrading the board? On rectangular signs, I have used a bead of premium silicone on the inner edge of that plastic "edge cap". But on an irregular shaped surface?
It seems like someone, somewhere has or would develop an ultra flexible edge molding that you could bend around a weird shape....and maybe keep it in place with silicone, staples, or small nails....or a combination of all the above.
Is there such a product? What do you professionals do? Thanks tons guys and gals.

for this type application I use the trim cap ... BUT ... I run it through a band saw so the "over hang" is 1/8" or less (made a jig to guide it) Bends MUCH easier that way ----edit---- or the trimcrap can be scored/cut with a utility knife

Todd, there is such a product. I got a roll of it from Canadian Signcrafters, I just can't remember what its called. Give Marg a call, details on the Merchants page.
