SongPainter, Sign Music by Sign People, released last Xmas Day has sold 21 copies, 27 have been given to music contributors, key people in key places, and for the Letterhead Draw.
Steve and Barb put a nice logo on the main page of this Web Site to link to the order form, but it has not generated any sales that I am aware of.
I stopped promoting it on the BB because of the unwarrented and insensitive criticism we were hammered with. When the BB promotions stopped, so did the sales.
Songpainter is a wonderful collection of music by sign folks who contributed their music to be used for the good of humanity as all profits from the sale of this collection go to charity.
Sign Builder Illustrated had a very nice news article about Songpainter in their "Dispatches" columns.
We are still planning for SongPainter TWO. Please get your original sign theme music recorded and sent to me in September 2002 and we will rock out another CD for the holiday season.

Cool Dave! I am looking forward to it! What a treat to hear your fellow sign buddies singing and playing music that they have written! I play my CD often and love it.

I'll be bringing a handfull to Mass Mayhem for sale, and playing a few selections live with my acoustic guitar. Spud is going to provide some rythm beat with bongos and such, and it should be a lot of fun. Who knows, maybe we'll even get a few sales! (or at least some ripe produce thrown toward the stage!)

I'll be going to the Columbus Ohio B.I.G. show May 2nd or 3rd. I will be armed with a few dozen CDs to pass out. I'll give you a call, Joe, to see what you need.
Cheryl, you have been one of the biggest fans of SongPainter and I couldn't express in words how much that means to us. Cisco asked me why I didn't have you do the vocal for that little tune we are working on together. Is this true? Can you sing? I better call. Got your biz card on the bullentin board at my shop along with the other sign shops that purchased a CD.
Donna, I'll try to be more positive. I admit I started to come unglued after working 4 years on getting the first CD out only to have it "nit picked" by people who never took the time to actually listen to the music. Its not just music about hand painted signs. It is geared to be an enjoyable experience for everyone. Even clients who stop in my shop for a sign and hear it playing in the background have been amazed. The BNI group of business professionals I meet with every week have requested me to play the CD at our meetings! Even though these people are not "sign" people", they enjoy the music. (maybe I need to rethink the buying market)
Bruce, you'll love SongPainter once you get your ears on it.
SongPainter is ageless. It has no time limit before it becomes "old". For years to come, people will slowly discover Songpainter for themselves and have their hearts touched in ways they never realized.
