For those who need to present printed proposals for carved wood signs. I discovered a great little graphic program "Xara X", this program has a tool which bevels letters and panels in a second when tool icon is dragged across selected objects. A presentation drawing can be rendered and printed.

this is one of those little know programs...that are GREAT! ive said this before that corel 7 was the last "true" corel. version 8,9,10,11 all contain the BEST OF XARA, corel made connections with that co. prior to version 8 corel. corel took all the best of xara and added it to corel 7...WALA corel version 8. corel was going to help XARA get marketed...yea right...after corel got the rights to the code..they dropped XARA. at that time xara had a verion 1.0 & 2.0. since they are no longer a corel sub...they brought out a new version, which is called XARA X. for those who find corel to much to work with get a copy of XARA X and you be amazed how easy it makes corel to use..........

I thought I remembered Corel being bundled with Xara around version 7 or so.
anyway I downloaded it and used the bevel feature and can say WOW! The on screen interactive bevel feature is easier to use than Corel's. Also the shadow feature is soooooo much easier to use than Corel.

bob i think with some newer versions of corel 7(near the time they brought out 8) they had a disk of XARA 1.0 in the package.
