We're not sure if this is a happy or sad face topic. Barb and I made it back to Fergus last night around 10pm.
The last 5 weeks all seem like a dream today. Were we really in all those places? Did we really meet all those people? The odometer on the camper says we covered over 8,000 miles and we've got tons of photos. I guess it really happened after all.
After the sunshine of the South, Ontario skies look grey and dreary. The snow is all gone, but it's still cool. I wore shorts all the way home hoping the hot weather would follow, but it didn't work. I looked pretty silly in shorts with everyone else bundled up in coats.
Over the next week, I plan to work on a webpage about the trip. We want to thank everyone who took time out of their busy days to welcome us into their homes and hearts. Barb and I are truly blessed.

Thanks for stopping by yesterday! too bad we had to bowl last night. It would have been great to have you guys around for a bit longer!
Glad you made it home all in one piece. I bet it was really nice to sleep in your own beds after all that time on the road.
Have a great one!

I am going to be the first to say that it was great to meet you and Barb. You have helped make this movement come alive and everyone appreciates it. I expect big things down the road for all of it!

Ok Steve and Barb, glad you made it home safe and sound. And I know Canada is a beautiful place to live. But I have a question for you, from all your traveling which state did you love the most on this side? Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking who treated you the best, but from the states you visited or saw, where would you like to live if you made that jump?

I'm so glad to hear you made it home in one piece! I got a little nervous when you mentioned the heart meds were runnin low.
It's kinda wierd goin back home after a meet, I'm havin a hard time imagining an extended stay, especially when it didn't get to sit still for 5 minutes, hehehe!

Stevo and Barb, I'm sorry to hear that you made it home safe and sound. I think it's too bad that you didn't get to travel for a couple more months and meet more folks and follow the sun west once again. You could be safe and sound in many places. I'm really glad you are!
