You can download "Crossfont" at the link below and use it to convert their font files to Windows format which you can then install on your system.

The program has worked great for me in the past. It's great having the whole font available (as opposed to just their logo converted to curves) so you can add or correct copy or do additional signs in the correct font.

This is a free download, with the option to register for $45 which is well worth it.

I don't know which PC font matches Stone but you may be able to have your client save the file in an AI (Adobe Illustrator) format or maybe EPS and then email it to you. Then import that file into your sign software.

Good Luck!

"Stone" is an Adobe font family (serif and sans serif), now licensed to ITC as ITC Stone, available for both PC and Mac format from any Adobe font reseller. It is a versatile, if plain, face designed by Sumner Stone John Remner (i think -- it came out over a decade ago and my memory isn't that good).

If you only need the single weight (there is a bold, medium, italic, etc etc), it only costs $25.99 direct from Adobe. You can see the whole family here:

http://www.adobe.com:80/type/browser/P/P_040.html

I think Adobe was giving away Stone Sans and Stone Serif with ATM, and with a lof of their other software. Now that they've licensed it to ITC it might be harder to find for free. Its cheap enough that the customer should be willing to reimburse you.
