Being that winter is almost over in this part of the country I've decided not only to update my workshop with H.I.D high sodium lighting but also to add more to my arsenal of brushes, palettes and paint formulars bottled up and ready to work.

Yesterday I recieved 10 brush heads from LazerLines including the Handover 2-1/2" long brush haired one and the new #3 brush [ no name ] is also almost as long but with a skinnier belly which reminds me of the Langnickel striper although it seems to work a heck of alot better on long lines with more control. Got 4 Berthas which is by far the brush most persons will ask for when ordering from LazerLines, as it has shorter hair and seems to me to be more comfortable to many persons just starting out, as well as those who have been using regular Macks, Grumbachers etc. Also got 4 of the originals and all in all, am very happy to see my craft altering its status and a manufacturer which caters to my needs without the excuses I gotten from others. The brush hairs seem to be in the right place with the longer ones at the top as I'm sure you all get the picture, and a tiny snip here at the point will resolve any problem in its future use.

Joanna puts the size in the brushes before shipment so when you recieve them, wash them good in warm water to remove the sizing as its just coffee and sugar as she states. After which clean them in mineral spirits, pat dry with a towel and oil them with your preference.

I understand LazerLines will be making some quills as well as outliners and I'm sure after all their sampling, will come out with another ground breaker.
I am just happier then a pig in sh-t, that I can finally update my arsenal with quality stuff knowing that a fellow artist is making something we all could use and knows by experience, our needs. This is where our other brush manufacturers failed us, just talking as a pinstriper of course!

Joey, Which of the brush head seems best suited for design work. I've got the Bertha, and you are right, she's a doll. Does the #3 look like the better for design building?

Santo, the new #3 is a longer haired brush approximently 2 1/4" in length of hair, my guess it would be used for straight lines like the Handover but yet less belly then the Handover. I find the Bertha great for all around work including designs as well as straights and as I get to use all of the brushes, I guess I will have more to say.
On another note, if you have the LazerLines chrome brush box like I do, I modified mine by taking out the interior and giving it an R&R by replacing with 1/2" foam on both top lid and bottom tray. This way I can sandwich the brush heads, keep them flat and saturate the bottom foam with my favorite oil, without spilling any.

HOPE THIS HELPS !
