Just had to format my system to the Windows XP Pro edition and had similiar problem with my Roland PNC900 driver.

Went to Rolands website for support on drivers and found what I needed.

I hope this is the correct website if not I am sure someone has it.

Rolanddg.com

Just loaded it today and mine is up and running tonight! By the way - Dave Grundy - Thanks for your assistance also!

rolanddga wont have a driver for the pnc-1000 in its newest driver list, but you can use the roland pnc-1000A this was told to me by a roland tech.

You could also partition your hard drive & run whatever older version of windows was previously working for you. This would of course be more work then just downloading the driver if that is available to you, but if it's not available, this might work.

I just bought a new computer with XP pre-installed. I won't be able to run CasMate Pro on XP. The first person I talked to at the computer manufacturer (Sony/Vaio) said loading an older OS would void my warrenty, but later that statement was clarified to be that if I partition HD & run W98 on one side they would not support issues on that side. If I change the whole thing to W98, I would have to change it back to get support.

Anybody else ever partition to run 2 operating systems for software compatibility reasons?
