With the recent demise of Deka, I have been looking to other sources for waterbased paint.
I saw in AMAL an ad for Rhino Paint Co, which I know is Gary Anderson. I have his books and admire his work. I wondered about the paint range and colours that are available etc.

Yes, I'm using it and am well satisfied. The paint is actually Porter brand that Gary has provided with some special mixes. There is a wide range of colors, with some very deep colors that I've not found available anywhere else - at least that would cover. Of course, a lot of the colors are those that Gary uses in his outstanding designs.
He also offers a glaze, along with roller covers and a lot more. A color chart and tech sheet is available on request.
The paint covers well for latex and is very color fast. I have used it for the last several years and everything is holding up well - even in this Texas sun. The paint is consistent all the way to the bottom of the bucket and does not lump up or congeal over time.
Gary is also available for advice - which is a great help. He has been using this paint for a bunch of years and has proven how reliable it is. He is not doing this to get rich or just to have his own dog and pony show, but to offer some high quality products to our profession.
