ATTENTION.... I just saw on the news out of San Francisco....
The shasta beverage company had a large sign blow down off thier building this week revealing a wonderful sign painted back in the 50's. www.shastapop.com
They are interested to know HOW it was painted, very interested in understanding how sign artists painted these.... The SF art commision is intersted too!! The only downpoint to this..... Someone whitewashed over it over the weekend...I don't know if this permanantly ruins it...
BUT, if you know who painted this old Shasta sign, contact me!!

Well...it seems the painter was a Bob Rabino, who painted this in the 60's....wish I knew that....the first person to answer that question correctly is to claim 10K from the Shasta co. Dang!
Still, cool to see this unfold on television, and tell people about 'Walldogs'......

Update on that sign...it's being painted over at this moment with a Nike ad.....oh well....guess the owner of the building didn't appreiciate the Walldogs as much as Shasta did.
