I have never posted anything regarding my opinion of Rapid Tac vs. Soap n water vs. dry. I have always used soap and water usually when I want to do a wet application and kept a bottle of Rapid Tac on hand for when I don't have time to wait, just in case it is better. Today I did a test. I cut some vinyl flames and applied to the doors of my Ford Expedition, just about a 1/8" wide pinstripe type flame. I used Rapid Tac on one side, soap n water on the other. I was able to peel the tape off the Rapid tac side within a minote or so, the other side I had some trouble with. It was a foggy day out so I knew I'd have a little troube with drying. So there, I think I'll be using more Rapid Tac. I prefer wet installs on larger stuff, there's just less chance of screwing up. I've been using vinyl since I got a 4b in 1988 and actually way before then so It's about time I did a test on this.
