I'm looking for a source for motocross dirtbike decal kits( fenders kits, number plates etc, some have numerous company decals all put together as one decal). I have a new customer who has a mechanic shop for these things and he orders decals all the time, if I could find a wholesale outfit for these, I would be getting all his work.
I can do all his custom work (his logo, numbers etc), but would like a source for ready made kits.
Any leads?
Thanks, Tony B

Sounds like great work for a Gerber EDGE. Might you be able to justify the purchase based on your new customer's volume? What if you combine some of your current work with the new business? If not, try posting your question here... 4EDGEtalk.com

Tony, check with "One Industries". Their website is at www.oneindustries.com. You might also take a look at the January 2002 issue of Sign Builder Illustrated as it has an article that I wrote on applying motorcycle grapics.

I just talked to a local guy when I read this message, he works with his dad at their screenprinting shop in town but he's developing his own line of ATV and motorcycle graphics. He's got some fender flames if that's the kind of thing you're looking for and he's hoping to eventually have a full line of graphic kits to go on the shrouds, tanks, etc. You can give him a call at 928-453-8600. The son's name is Brad Dyer, you'll want to ask for him if you call.

Hey Mike, Just a quickie...Iused to buy REALLY thick vinyl from my window film supplier. It was clear and some of it was made by 3M. It is used as a chip guard on cars paint to stop chips and stuff.

For decals for dirtbikes, ATVs, etc... check out Gerbers Permagrip. Regular cast and calendered vinyls will peel easily on plastics with low surface energy. (Been there, done that) I haven't tried Permagrip yet but I have been told this stuff has "duct tape like" adhesive properties.

Thanks for all the replies fellows! I would love to do business with several people here on the bullboard. I figured going through a motocross decal supplier would be that they already have the shapes needed for all those compound curves on the bikes. The rear fenders don't look too bad to deal with but there's several models of bikes to reckon with that I couldn't see the hassle of trial and error fitting these things from scratch.
If any of you would have the shapes done already (like a template) we could work off of that, and I would send files to ya.
I was thinking edge printing (or Durachrome) would be a little pricy compared to some of these kits out of those Motocross catalogs. I think the whole kit sells for around $129.00 or so. That's what I have to compete with, If you guys think I could make this work let me know, I'm open to suggestions.
Let me know and thanks for the comebacks!
