I lurk and learn here a lot. THt site has been of great help to me. Now I hope I may help some of you in a small way.
There is a Newsgroup, alt.binaries.fonts that you may find invaluable.
It is international in nature and full of "font heads", the DTP equivilant of "Letterheads".
If you post a topic with a small JPG attachment of the font you are looking for, there is a 99.99% chance that one of the group will have it and post it.
If you post with a request to identify and would like the font posted for download, your topic line should read:
ID and req. Please
The group is also very well informed on which company, org, etc. uses which font(s) in their advertising.
Hope this helps some of you, and thanks to all for the help you have been to me.
