how else would you get a sign before chirstmas ???????
are you saying you can't put out a sign in a week ?

the thinking around my shop is you can rest when your dead! we live for moneny!! have been many nights we seen the sun come up!
in my part of the world you make the money when you can!!!there are lot of weeks when things are slow !!thats just the way it is in a small town !!

The sad part is, we were scheduled to dig 2 four foot deep by 18 inch wide holes to set two 19 foot posts on Tuesday!!! Oh, well, I guess it'll be a few more days until the frost line gets too deep! Last week was slow for us for new work, but we have all we can handle, right now anyway. Hope the rest of the winter is better than last year.

Well here in Beautiful Alma Michigan its WHITE. When I left work at 10:00 pm tonight I found my van buriied by the snowplows. Snow was half way up my door, but under the van was clear. After a few back and forths I pulled out of the massive pile and then helped my brother-in -law get his Chevy pickup out of 8 inches of snow. It took us a bout 20 minutes. By the way, I have a Full size FORD van.Tommorrow should be fun..

Yea..THANKS A LOT Michigan guys!!!!!!!
Yes,the storm you sent our way has arrived at about 50 miles a hour with snow!!!!!!
We are not finished with fall yet.
In the future it would be appreciated if you sent your bad weather elsewhere!!!
Try Florida..they deserve some ,too!
OP is from Pennsy...he prolly misses the snow!

This is about as "Dusty" as it gets!!!!!!
Dust is ass deep to a tall Indian.....!!!
And more is coming....
I never figured how the snow could come so sideways...
Its not comin down at all.....its comin across and then it stops right in my driveway.Sideways snow!
If ya look at it head on,it pokes ya right in the "lookers"...stingy.
Why would anyone in their right mind live in this climate?
Because tomorrow it will be nice!

We got the 50mph plus winds last night into this morning, had four calls on the machine when we got in for sign faces blown out..looks like a profitable wind what blew into town. No snow though which is good I spent most of the morning picking up pieces of plex..only one of the blow outs was work we had done. There were four others I saw that didn't call me.

Tim..maybe you want to go to where you have to dig and spread calcium and cover it with plastic. This should make the diggin easier it'll melt the frost and keep it from getting deeper. I have a 4x4x10 foundation to dig and pour this month and did the same thing at the instruction of my excavator.

Ya, here in Pa we got the WIND, you keep your weather. I lost my plotter today cuz of the power surge (just placed a post) but luckily my pc's still running. Lost ALL my shutters overnight too, and to think that was one of my biggest concerns this morning... now no plotter and lots of work. this couldn't have happened 2 weeks ago when I was killing time waiting for the irons in the fire.....nope,,it has to happen when your busy!
Winter...ICK!

Robin,

I feel your pain. My computer was out for a month! But I am up and running, and next door in Ohio. Do you need some vinyl cut? Maybe we can work out something very easy for both of us on the budget. Maybe sometime I'll be in the same boat. You can email me at
740-369-0327. You do not want to lose your customers!!
There is also K&M Graphics in Penn. They sell letters fairly reasonable. I do not have their no. It has been a while. I think they are near Cleveland border.
Hope this helps.
