I am new here to the board and have enjoyed reading many of the tips, tricks and info. I have a question regarding drawing what amounts to a shadow effect. Is there a way to draw progressively finer (narrower?) lines without draw each individual line using CD9. Hopefully I got my point across. Thanks to all in advance. Hopefully I can contribute to the board in the near future.

use the interactive blend tool. draw your largest line then draw your thinnest line and blend as many steps as you desire. then select all objects and separate then ungroup and you have your blend ready to cut
