What old paint said! If Corel doesn't already have it, it's got the tools to create it.

You get what you pay for!

I don't use any Corel clipart although I have it here.

I remember a women coming here saying an "advertising bureau" (using the term lightly!) offered her a choice of 2 hairdryers to use in her "logo". I said when she came to me "Only 2??", why was that, and then looked in my Corel book and saw exactly why.

Loads of people have Corel at home and if you want to do more "original" work or find more unusual clipart try Collections like Beeline where you have 17,000 ready to use vector images, not a whole load of tired looking bitmaps etc. like you find on Corel, or any of those othe "Mega" clipart collections, I also go out and buy loads of books, there are masses of great books on ornaments thru the ages, flourishes etc.

I wont make a smart comment and say draw it yourself!....as there is a need for good clipart in our industry. If you can make a sign look that much better with the addition of some copyright free artwork why not...its fast and time to move on to the next project.

I have the Vector Volumes 1 & 2, Mike Jackson's 2CD's, David Butlers 2CD's, Jack Will's Designers café, Aurora vehicle graphics Vol 1-5 now 6 & 7 are here too I believe, the Sign DNA CD's, then there are other things like Jerry Mathels CD of 1500 fruit box labels, these are not vector but good "idea starters". There are other collections by OCA, and Smartart I think although I know nothing of their content.

None of the above are cheap in comparison to to CD bundles you can buy in your local computer store, but they are good quality vector art with no crossing paths, plenty to choose from and build with.

I was a member up to 2000 of Arttoday but there annual fee has gone up from $29 to $153 and if you restrict your searches each time to B/W eps artwork its very limited, much on the lines of the Corel collections.

I would be interested in finding more of the type of pictorial artwork that Gary Anderson uses in his dimensional signage, and more 50's retro vector clipart.

Good luck in your search

I have Corel Gallery 1,000,000 images, it has thousands and thousands of great vectorized images. What Henry says is correct about his other programs, if you want a place to start you can not go wrong with this program, and it's less than $100.00.... so this is not rocket science.

also if you have corel.....get a program called PRINT ARTIST. got tons of clip art, has a choice when you print it to make it coloring book art, then you can scan it and it will be a vector. also most of the clipart in PA you can COPY/PASTE into corel and it will be vector. another good program is ARTS & LETTERS EXPRESS 7.0 ton of clip art.
