Reading the post on ALPS printers got me to
buy one ...I just received the unit and it works fine!!!!

Just want to know what would be the setting to get this printer to print on vinyl?

Thanks in advance!!

We use the standard cartridges. The trick seems to be in curling the vinyl in the direction of the feed. If you don't do that, the vinyl will not feed-get jammed-tear the ribbons. We also have to curl the transfers that we use or we have the same problems. It took a little time to get accustomed to these quirks, but now all works well.

Also a good trick is to half lap a pice of masking tape over the end. works great...and just use the regular lazer paper setting.

Thanks guys!

I followed your advices and already have
25 pages (8 1/2" x 14") of stickers printed.

18 black on yellow
7 4 colors on white

I put krilon on them (5 mist coat + 1 finish)

What do you guys use to protect your prints?? Do you over laminate with transparent film?
