Does anybody know where to get (I guess they are called) polyuerthene lens emblems or nameplates. They are small, about one or two inch oval (but they can be different sizes and shapes) soft to the touch emblems. They are about a 1/4 inch thick and flexible. They look like the emblems that come on some cars and other products. A customer of mine talked to a company in Canada a while back that custom makes these things. They will custom make them from a CorelDraw or AI. file. I am just trying to see if there are any companies in the US that make these. They appear to be a cut and print decal with a clear 1/4 inch thick coating applied to them and then they are die cut but the edges are beveled or rounded over.

Check these guys out. ND GRAPHICS sells their products in Canada...maybe they can direct you to an American dealer.

The place in Canada where my customer got a sample from is www.bramptonnameplate.com . I don't know how hard it would be to deal with shipping of stuff from Canada. Anybody ever done this. My customer also mentioned a $200 die setup charge. I would just be creating the artwork for him and he would deal with them afterwords.

I'm one of many self-appointed Canadian trade envoys operating here in Letterville (You gotta love border towns!).

Canada has an export economy - and something in excess of 80% of our trade is done with the USA...so no Canadian company should ever have any difficulties getting product to you. We're also very service driven and friendly.

You also have the added benefit of favorable currency exchage...63 cents on the dollar the $200 set-up is only $126 to you!

So give those people at Brampton Nameplate a call!

Dadgum if that Sticker pimp link isn't a way to do this at your own shop. Thanks Mike I am going to try to find out how to get a sample kit in a little while when I have a spare moment. I really would like to do these things myself. Anybody got an idea what to charge for something like this not including the artwork. The size I need are 2.75 inches X .75 inches. I am sure you could put this over a Gerber Edged 2 mil high performance vinyl don't 'yall think. 'Scuse my French I am from Georgia.

I make and sell these little gems for 75 cents per sq. in. stouse sells them retail for about .80 your wholesale price would be abot half that. I first saw these in boise and started searching and found a kit at Gregory and sign-mart
search the web for 3-D doming resins. I print and cut on my roland color-camm but used to do it on my alps printer using precut vinyl. its easy to do but be sure you keep the temp up and eliminate all humidity before applying the resin
