I have two older ENCAD printers, both 42e models, which need post-warranty service. My current option wants to charge travel time and way-too-much per hour, to make the call.
Does anyone have any leads, as far as a reliable service option in North Carolina?

Have you tried contacting Encad themselves? Perhaps they could direct you. They also appear to have a User Forum on their website.
Don't mean to be presumtuous, but it might also be time to start planning to invest in newer equipment. How was your ROI on these machines?

Brother Jon, Encad's website has been a dead issue for several months. I have called their office direct for some parts replacement parts. They are still there, but want to route everything through Tech Service and they have a $25 charge. So folks have everything you need when you call. I hope they improve some.

Encad... customer service... Hahahahahahahaha! that's a real good one! I won't bore you with the details of the last encounter we had trying to get our printer serviced. Suffice to say, it was a nightmare! Sheesh...
Maybe it is time for us to invest in some newer equipment. It has served us well but maybe time to retire it...
Funny, my pants have the same pocket problem...
Have a great one!
