For many years I've been encouraging John Saint to write some of the stories we'd go over every year when we get together for lunch at our reunion of guys from the old shop. I apprenticed to him. Finally he started doing that and then John Hodgins ran an ad in Sign Craft looking for some of those snapper stories. The book is now published and I got my autographed copy yesterday. It's title is "SNAPPERS" and I'm not sure how it will be distributed, but look for it.

I know we aren't talking about turtles, military engineers or babies...so what exactly do we mean by "Snappers" around these parts?
Feel free to make something up.

The book looked very interesting but I did not have time to read it before delivering it to Fred Self from Bob Harper. I was too busy talking to Bob Harper to read.
