Nothing will work the way you want. Any adhesive that gives you the strength you need will be more dense than the HDU and leave a line that requires a little clean up, but Gorilla glue and PB240 as mentioned above are the 2 best. PB240 is the same type of glue as Gorilla glue but seems to expand less.
I just use my flex shaft grinder and knock down the glue line. With a small sphere bit I can make the line invisible from a few feet away.

Brian, try this: Either use biscuits or dowels to "dry fit" your pieces together. Use some kind of clamping system to hold them together while you blast. THEN, glue up the parts with polyurethane glue and remove the excess as it oozes out. If you are using Precision Board, you must remove at least one half (1/2) inch of material on the sides that have the slick finish or you will get an unwanted raised area. Don't just sand it off. Question::: how big are the pieces you are joining ???? What is your overall size gonna be ?
Concerning the raised area:: Precision Board is cast into a mold and they leave the ends on. The molecules are more concentrated and condensed on the sides that touch the mold. That is why you have to remove at least a half inch if you are blasting and joining parts together. The other HDU manufacturers cut this part off in the finishing process.
