Seeing the previous squeegee post, reminded me of this: using a normal squeegee for applying vinyl is a great strain on your wrists, over time. I had an employee with this problem, our WCB people designed a holder for the squeegee(3m gold, of course) It's hardwood, about 2 1/2" dia. by 5"-6" long ,cut length-wise, grooved to accomodate squeegee, held together with screws. your hand now grips a thick dowel-like device, you can put good pressure, but ergo-wise, it's is less strain on your tendons, etc. All worked out by highly trained person.Make sense?

One of the people at our former store devised a tool based on a window squeegee. He took out the rubber piece and replaced it with a felt strip of some kind. Once again, the handle was the big thing because you can get some muscle on it without tearing up the wrists. Vic G
