They must have forgot that Jack had an affair with Emily Head... yes it was the Schitt-Head affair that produced the illegitimate "Ape" Schitt. Ape grew up to follow in his father's footsteps, also having an affair with Donna Eatte. This of course was known as the Eatte-Schitt matter. Once they finally married, they began a sign shop with long time friend, Benjamin Dye. This was known as the "Eatte, Schitt & Dye" Sign Shop.
