Wow, what a hit Katie was at the OKC meet...
She was accepted with open arms and touched the hearts of everyone there. She even traded some TimTams for panels from some of the best stripers in the country, the results of which are drying in our guest room as we speak.
It's been a long time since I've seen such mutual acceptance and it has been a rewarding experience to say the least.
Katie has embarked on her next leg of her American odyssey at 3:15 central time as she and R.T. Thomas headed for Hattiesburg Mississippi and adventures yet to come.I can truly say we will miss her.
I'll be posting pics this week so you too can share the magic moments already gone.
Fred and Marilyn Self went out of their way to see to it Katie was welcome and once again provided a the most hands on event I've had the pleasure of attending.
Katie has charmed everyone she has encountered and will continue to do so, I'm sure!
Thank you to everyone that have provided this experience for such a wonderful young lady and thank you Katie, for being the person I believed you to be from the first time I read one of your posts.
Is this a great site or what?
Get ready Georgia...you're gonna love this girl!

That's a great story of a young lady to come to our country and get to see how things are over here and the welcomes she received. From what I've have read, you had a big role in this event for her being here. I think you also deserve a big congratulations on your part of putting this together. Monte I think that was great of you and your wife to be part of that! Enjoy your run over here Katie, one day I hope I can go to Australia and get to see how things are to be down under...

Hey Monte, Robert, Katie and everyone else...it was great meeting all of you. I had a blast and brought home some cool panel art, a harley tank, new brushes and a craving for tim tams!
I made some new friends and saw some old aquaintences. Learned some new tricks, too.
Time to get to work. I have to cut a bunch of vinyl today. Aaarrrgggghhhh
