Hi all Before I get slamed not looking for any thing free except maybe some information. Just had a hard drive crash and lost many fonts. Always thought that helvetica and helvetica inserat were windows fonts.Thought I had a backup font file(nope).Were to find? Thanks Ernie

If you have CorelDRAW, you can load in the Swiss fonts. They are basically Helvetica. Not exactly the same, but close enough to spit at.
You can also do a search on-lone for free fonts and sift through the seemingly endless piles of fonts...

Ernie, Just curious where they came from in the first place? Maybe they are part of the installation on some of your software. May pay you to look on your disks and CD's. They'll probably be compressed on 3.5" floppies but shouldn't be on CD's. Give them a look. Keep in mind that many times the file name and display name may not be the same.

If I recall correctly adobe portable document reader downloaded with helvetica medium at one time.It may however be an adobe font at which point you'll need atm to use it.
