Hey 'heads lately there has been some talk of clipart and a upload site or a forum here at Letterville. Steve has more than once expressed his dislike of this idea. This site is for the exchange of knowlege and ideas and occasionaly to rant and rave. It seems its ok to ask "where do I get?" or " how do I find?" but NEVER ask "can I have?'"
Here is a link to a forum for asking "can I have?" the rules of the site are: origional vector art only and the theroy is based on the honor system say you need a pic of a train and you have a rose that you drew and vectorized yourself... you go to the site... vector clip art forum ... post a message I need a Train, rose attached you upload your rose in the hopes some one sees your good will and uploads a Train that they drew and vectorized themselves and intern downloads the rose that you attached. They site is pretty good but if everybody here were also regulars there... wow what a great site that would be. so go on over, register, and upload something and ask for something, or just go and download anything already uploaded that might be useful to you, but remember the honor system, go and ask for something and not upload, and you probably wont get any responses, also dont feel let down if you ask for something and don't get it. You can only upload it, if you have it. don't expect some one to just give you something you need just 'because you posted something but, the more people who do it the more sucsessful it will be.
there is also a site for non-commercial fonts: font forum so there you go, thats where you get the clip art, this is where you find out about it. make sense?

captain ken I am sure it can get to be a pain as far as people asking for this or that for clipart. Thank you very much for those links and I myself plan on contributing to that clipart site myself with my own original clipart. It seems like a great idea and I think besides the legal issues for steve just the mere exercise of cataloging submittted clipart and the storage for these on a server could get to be both time consuming and expensive. TO point people to a direction is what it is all about thanks again captian ken

Just like this site there are lerkers and posters. I am a lerker still over there. I plan to become a poster soon. I just downloaded a couple of cool tribal designs, I did notice, not ALL of the graphics are of the best quality, some are but you have to download them and open them before you know

It's amazing to me that a post like this one that gives letterhead useful information to help in the sign business gets 1 reply in a week. But a post about some cry baby who didn't get his way gets 50+ in a few days. Where are the priorities?
