Does anyone know where I can find some art pertaining to the carpet trade? I bought a bunch of clip art cd's but no carpet. I'm looking for mabye a roll of carpet, tackstrip, carpet kicker, ect. I checked out rolands site, but all they have is that one goofy looking guy with a roll of carpet on his shoulder. Before someone say's yes I do and I paid for it, I am willing to pay for it, I just need some help finding it?

Thanks in advance,
Brian Caissie

Brian,

A long time ago I ran across a b/w drawing of a "genie" type character on a flying carpet in I think one of E.C.Matthews books on sign painting. No scanner at the time, so I just faked it by drawing an approximation of the original and turning it into a pounce pattern. The character was wearing a turban with a jewel over his forehead, some sort of baggy pants, and sat cross-legged on the carpet, which had sort of a wavy look to it. If you are any good at drawing maybe this is an idea you can use.
