Yesterday, our Garston Sign Supply rep, Wes Milligan, brought a sample bracket to our shop to show us. He brought out this commercial strength bracket that really impressed the bejeepers out of me.
It wasn't so much the design shape but that it was so well constructed and thought out. From the oversized side tabs for wall mounting to the use of stainless steel eyebolts.
I asked him who made the bracket, but it was almost as if I already knew the answer. It was made by Letterville's own Cam Bortz and the Pondside Ironworks.
Folks, let me tell you that these brackets are the real deal. It really did take a signmaker to finally construct a bracket that was worthy of use. Some people will say that they are too much money or what else, but I believe that these brackets are worth the cost.
Just the cost savings of not having to repair the sign in the event of a bracket failure warrants the extra expense over the "Brand B" brackets.
Another thing that I really like is that I am going to be able to get thse brackets through my supplier. I am sure that it will turn out to be very convenient for us.
Cam, great job, dude. With quality like this, I am sure that you will, no doubt, succeed.
Have a great one!

Bruce.....nice to see your opinion of Cam's brackets is a good one. I bet they are great! Too bad because just before Cam spoke up about his new venture...I had just finished a sign for a lady...and she had a bracket made by someone else. I will try to get a pic. I am anxious to try Cams.
