I'm ordering another roll of white vinyl today, and remembered some blurb somewhere about glossy vinyl.
I use the white vinyl (Avery) mostly for airbrushing, and somewhere I read that you would be better off using a matte white vinyl rather than a gloss white vinyl. I believe the reason was that the paint (I use Auto Air) would adhere to the vinyl better.
Any truth in that? I've always used gloss and never seem to have any problem. But I thought I'd ask anyway. Anyone know of any pros or cons?
Thanks.

it's all in the vinyl prep before airbrushing.. clean the oils and fingerprints off and there wont be any problems with adhesion. Rapid Prep does the cleaning very nicely.
I spray vinyl screenprinting inks though, cause most of my stuff ends up in an abusive environment. ie: on a car/truck or jetski.
