OK, it's taken a while, but excitement has finally set in.. Yes, I was excited before, but in a different way.. Now I can start counting down the days (my brain only makes it up to 7... anything higher and it konks out on me). OK, consider me excited, very excited, and happy, and WOW I REALLY AM GOING OVERSEAS!!! The past week or so has been filled with uni, and getting settled in here. Now, I can focus on packing etc.. *grin* Or that can wait a few more days.. However, the souveneers are bought, the bag is in the cupboard, the clothes are hanging at the moment.. and I'm almost ready to go.. not to mention the list of people I have to send postcards to when I get over there... And one letter has been requested too.
So.. not long now, huh?

Katie, I just realized how close the meet in OK is!!!!!
Have a safe and fun trip, try to get as much sleep as possible before you leave, believe me, you won't get much once you get here!
Pack light, things multiply on long trips, print up all your postcard addresses ahead of time on sticky labels, buy your postcard stamps the first day you get to the states, don't worry if you've forgotten to bring something, you can get it here too....

You're not alone Katie! This meet has really creep up on us fast.
Barb and I are racing around in hopes of getting away this weekend. Today I got the camper out of the snowbank and was pleasantly surprised when it started right up. The propane and gas tanks have been topped off and my cousin Jay The Mechanic, is going to give it a lookover tomorrow.
This will be the first trip for the new laptop. After a week of transferring files and installing programs, I think it is almost ready to go. I hope to test HeadTV later tonight.
We're looking forward to returning to Oklahoma City and meeting our old friends. It's going to be a real thrill to meet the gal that has helped us with HeadTV over the past years at Oz Letterhead meets. Get ready for a couple big hugs!

Dana and I just want to remind to get your room cleaned before you go...
I bet that you are just on pins and needles with anticipation. What an wonderful opportunity for you to experience something like this.
We (Dana and I) really wish that we could see you in OK City or in Georgia but we (Tracy and I) have several huge projects going on here. for not being able to go... for the big jobs!
We will be praying for a safe and wonderous journey for you. We sincerely hope that it turns out to be everything that you hope that it is going to be.
Wishing you the best, Katie!
Have a great one!

Katie!! We can't wait!! Everyone here is talking about you!........ I hope your flight is good and be prepared for a bit of jet lag. It's terrible, but you'll have to live with it. I'm getting ready for OKC and will see you there at Monte's Thursday night. Hopefully tis meet will be better than ever. It's a great meet, we're gonna have a blast. Then when it's over, we'll come down here for a few days and see what we can get into. All the guys here in town are excited to meet you and wondering how in the world a teenager from Oz can afford a trip like this. We ain't telling! Anyway, c'mon girl. We're all excited!! Fly safe, R.T.

Katie, if you don't have a digital camera, wait till you get here to buy film.
Get someone to take you to Costco to get the multi packs of Kodak. Only about 15 bucks for a pack of 6 I believe. (Much cheaperthan in Oz?), and the developing is only 3 dollars a roll.
A friend of mine who travels internationaly, develops her film before going home so as to not have film damaged by xray machines. Also you can mail home a lot of it to save on packing space.
I'll be happy to bring you a pack of film if you like, I'm sure someone else would too.
