There needs to be a MATCH MAKER MEET!!!!!!! I really think so. The couple or so years I've been reading post here, I have noticed that there are a lot of single Artist here. If we can get these people matched, it may help both there busnesses, by mixing two different talents. Well, it was a thought!!!! Enjoy- Ed

I met my wife here. I think I better just keep away from a "match maker" meet... Hahahahahaha!
Networking with other shops would be a cool idea, though. We already do business with several merchants here. Most of them are consummate professionals and we would recommend them highly.
Brian Stoddard from Expression Signs is probably the best one we deal with. He fixed us up right with some window prints for a van we did. Gonna be getting some more real soon.
Have a great one!

No thanks on the match making. I am very content being a workaholic. I don't even have enough time to come to the bullboard as much as I would like.

I for one would find this concept very interesting. I also dont want to see this BB become a meet market so to speak. I like it just the way it is. Steve and Barb have done a wonderful job of bringing the letterhead WORLD together. This is a group of people willing to share their talents and their trials and tribulations.
Would I like to meet another letterhead to share my life and my passion? HELL YEAH! But somehow I dont see this happening anytime soon.
Bruce and Dana you are my heroes in this. I can only wish that someday I might get so lucky and be so happy.

Indeed it is very cool that Bruce and Dana met in Letterville. I would say that most of us are settled in our corner of the world, and it would be hard to up and move. I have met many many friends here in Letterville however. And I am very happy about that.

I'm at the stage of life where having a friend/lover sounds GREAT as long as one or the other eventually goes home. I've long since wearied of the "give and take" thing. I want life MY WAY nowadays...........(boy, am I cranky, or what!?) So, if there's any sweet, talented beauty out there that can put up with THAT.....I'm right here, and I'm not holding my breath!!!!
I know what you mean. And it sounds like the time is getting shorter before they need to go home Here is what you could tell them. I like this saying: "I do my thing and you do your thing. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations. And you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you and I am I. And if by chance we find each other it's beautiful. "

Dana is the best thing that ever happened to me. I was indeed blessed by God when He brought her to my life. Way to many things had to happen to allow all this to come to pass that I just don't believe that it was an accident or a coincidence.
If the circumstances hadn't been what they were, all this would never would have or could have happened. To move to Minnesota would have meant terrific financial loss, not to mention the thought of starting another shop is overwhelming. I am just feel too dang out to do that again and i am way too set in my ways to go work for someone else.
I have a great wife, a cool dog, two groovy cats, and In-laws to die for... Man, life sure is good.
I am having a great one!

Hey CJ I love meets, but to "meet" at a meet, well, I dunno. Krupinski & I have discussed this concept several times. Sure, my ideal mate would be an artist, but like Cheryl sez, one would have to relocate. And like Harris sez, it might seem like a "meat market". I truly feel that if I'm supposed to meet someone, it'll happen in God's time. love ya- Silly Jilly ps, now if you were to bring Fast Eddie to Mars...nah, I'd probably not be able to concentrate on my meet.

I often fantasize about meeting and working with someone who shares my enthusiasm for this craft. Self-employment can be awfully isolated. But all I'm meeting in this government town are 'chronic employees' dependent on their biweekly cheque who think I'm some whacked out hippie/cowboy/artist/musician. Well okay..... one ex girlfriend thought that as she offered her vision of the perfect businessman I should be.
Still, I must come across as too much of a radical for the nice ladies around here. But I have more fun than anyone I know and biz is great now that I've become established. Sharing it with someone special who understands the biz and lifestyle would be the icing on the cake!

Re-locating is a real scary thing to do. I did it twenty years again. For the first couple years I wasn't sure it was the right thing to do, but then it just seemed to click and I have stayed. As far as a mate is concerned --- I would go to the moon for a LIFE-MATE. You all take care.................

Sounds like a neat idea to me. There are some MIGHTY fine-looking ladies here in Letterville, for sure!
My oldtimer sign buddy tells me how he comes home at night and tries to explain to his wife just what it is he does every day, but he can see her eyes beginning to glaze over...
