"How to print T-Shirts for fun & Profit" by Scott & Pat Fresener. ISBN 0-9639474-0-0. It was first published in 1978. My copy is 1994 and it has probably been revised since then. Definitly a "Bible" category of book. It obviosly mainly concentrates on fabric printing, but a lot of the information in it applies to all types of screenprinting. It can be fun or a pain in the butt, it really depends on attention to detail and removing as many variables as possible from the process. Tight screens, sharp squeegees, correct offset, corectly mixed inks and appropriately created artwork are essential. This book does outline all the variables and how to set them correctly for the best results. Best of luck.

Also, look for my article on using your plotter/cutter to cut Ulano film coming out in the May (?) issue of Sign Building Illustrated. I'll be discussing the advantages and disadvantages of screen printing from and for the beginner's perspective.
