Some days we are just on a roll. Things click... we can do no wrong.
Other days things don't go quite as planned... our dynamite proposal isn't understood or accepted. Our knowledge gained through many years experience is ignored.
Some days we are at the right place at the right time. Other days we miss the boat.
Some days we are ready to rock and roll on others we are forced to wait instead.
Some folks are prepared to accept whatever comes their way.
As for me... I HATE waiting. I gotta push. I have a tough time being ignored. I take rejection personally.
Today I got to be ignored, turned down, disagreed with, and generally made to wait.
The good news is that the more we as artists suffer the better our future work.
Tomorrow I will do some awesome art work!
Keep smiling! Not every day can be like today.

As I sat there contemplating my misery....a voice came to me out of the gloom, saying "Cheer up! Things could be worse!" So I cheered up! Sure as Hell....things got worse!

Back in the days when everyone was inhaling paint and solvent fumes, we all felt good all the time.

Yes.... some days. Today was a warm sunny early spring day, I decided my dog Meiko needed a long walk down at the river (so did I) I've been struggling with my new life after shop, got the pieces, trying to put it together into some order with money being one result.Well, there along the shore was a little homemade raft, two 10' logs and a pallet firmly attached. I imagined some free brave soul deciding" I'm goin' down the river". So I sat down on it, felt the suns warmth and wrote on the pallet, "structure" and put down notes to remind me that I will pull it all together, with my brushes at my side. Meanwhile, my dog kept alert.
Picked up some great molding, got 14 blanks started, and look forward to tomorrow Some days, eh.
