I was just offered a brokerage of those routed/engraved signs.... i can have them routed for $60 a sq.ft. painted and $45 a sq ft if i paint them myself(design work will be done by me using signlab). The person who is brokering them to me is my old boss who taught me everything i know and i dont think hed rook me... but ya never know. Your input would be greatly appriciated.

Ps. He said i in turn could sell the signs at $80 a sq ft. being as i dont have a router is this a good deal?

You may be able to broker them at that price, but I would try to get more on retail, especially on smaller signs. We get $450 for a sf carved house sign, up to 4 sq. ft., and I have seen examples of similar work as high as $750 to $1000.

My thought would be to invest in some tools and videos, or take a course such as Jay Cooke's or Paul White's and start carving your own in HDU. A small investment for the return possible, and you may discover that you enjoy making this type of sign, as opposed to just selling them.
