After painting signs for over 50 years and inhaling all those dreadful fumes I have become forgetful. I am looking for a program which will flash a message on my computer to remind me on a birthday, Wedding Day Anniversary etc. Important dates which I can enter in a program. Is there something like that for Windows98? Thanks Wolf

Printmaster is the best that I've found. It's one of those greeting card programs but I also use it to make biz cards, sihpping/address labels, letterhead.
You simply fill in the birthdays, etc and when you start your computer they pop up with that day's stuff. The only problem is that I don't turn off my computer much - good excuse to reboot once a day like you're supposed to.

Microsoft Outlook works well, and there is a good chance you probably have it on your computer already.
I bought a program called "Act" a while back, and it's been a good tool in helping me keep my "act" together. Pretty costly program tho, and probably not necessary when Outlook will work for what you are wanting.

Hay Wolf... If you have painted signs for 50 years.... You have earned the right to forget... I think it may well be high time that those around you do the reminding. You paid your dues! It aint the fumes..it's the fact that your birthday was too long ago.. Big cake..lotsa candles

My wife uses a program called "Calendar Creator" and enters all the kids games and scheduled appointments and all the birthdays and anniversaries and prints out the calendar every month so we can each write in our activities that need to be entered so we can coordinate our stuff.

I used Lotus Organizer too and then corel suite 8 (draw - version 7) came with a proggie called Barista. I had to call Corel when I purchased it and let them know I wanted it, it got sent right away. I love it, clickable links on the info pages...nice set up. It's especially great for those of you who like the netscape gig.
