There are several 1000's fonts on the font CD that came with Omega. Is there any way to find out the TT names of the fonts instead of just opening every single one of them to see what they are? They are in a-z order but with #'s & letters. Who has time to open every one of them when you are looking for a specific font?
I'm looking for a ttf called Bauhaus. Blippoblad is close but no cigar.
Any help would be apreciated.
Thanks

I can read the file names without opening the files. I went thru all the B's and did not find Bauhaus. It may be somewhare else with a prefix like ITCBauhaus or something like that, but it is not in the B's. Vic G

I have a 1/2" thick stack of paper that my Omega URW fonts are printed out on. I believe the PDF catalog was included on the CD for the purpose of viewing on screen &/or printing out. I printed mine & it has come in handy. There are no ITC prefixes showing up alphabetically in my collection. I also have the font in Corel which I bought for about $139 just for all the hundreds of popular fonts.
Vic: All I get when I look at the disc is a # like A003004t.ttf. I click on it to open it & it shows the font & name along with the sentence "The quick......". There you can print the entire page.
Doug: My CD has a file called "catalog.cat". When i try to open it, I get a message that reads "Invalid security file". I'm gonna call support about that.
Leslie: Will halla at yu if I can't get it to work.
To all: This art came from a flatstock printer, prints on paper. She used a program called "type twister" to get the text to fit a circle. Si sent me 4 versions of it, thanks Si. We have found it on another puter we have here for emb. We've dl it from a web site, & none of them match her font. Really doesn't make sence to me. They are close but they are not the same. (*^%$))*$$*^&^ Does anyone know the compatibility of ttf between PC & Mac?
Also, does anyone know of a windows program that will print a listing of your fonts like a mac will do?
Thanks millions folks. Will holla when i figure this one out.

I think this is the one I used for a while. In any event it is a shareware, so you can try it for free.
Any time you use these download services, get yourself a copy (free download) of Ad Aware and run it on your computer after installing your other shareware. Many shareware programs have a spyware attached. Usually you can just blow up the spyware. Vic G

Thanks Vic. From the web site you gave me, i got to another site that looks more like what i was looking for. It's www.mytools.com I dl a shareware version of it & it's works perfect. It has a time thingy built in it & it shows you a warning of how much time you have left. I got off before the time ran out. Gonna have to have it. I haven't found the Ad Aware program though. Thanks so much for this help. I've been looking for this for years. I've even posted several messages here but this is the first time I've heard of it. Again, thanks a million. Hope to meet you some day.

Sounds like another reason NOT to upgrade to Omega. . . .Have pressed down many a letter in Bauhaus using the old, press-on type.....Letraset was the best brand, but there were others- hay; how many here would like to go back to them days? I'm sure there must be newer (younger) people here that have never used that - just wondering - Carl
