I'd love to see closeups of this job! Nice work Bill.
I'm in the process of selling one of my box trailers... this photo made me second guess myself once more... I bet I could do something cool like this on the side of it... a rolling billboard!!! yeah....
No. Its gotta go.
Thanks for he inspiration!

Thank you Mark and everyone, my daughter Maryann deserves credit too, we did it together. There were three trailers altogether, each one a little different. The owner said the response was so good that he had to buy more trailers. It really does pay to advertise.

I'd like to sit on that bench! I can almost smell the garden. Beautiful job. Bill, can you tell us some of how you approach a pictorial painting?
Mark, now that you have a panel of judges, why is there such time constraints that the SOTM will go on hold?

Thanks again for all the nice words. You asked about the job, well the customer had a very poor drawing of his logo in a black and white line. I straightened it out corrected the perspective and the flowers were my daughters creation. We had to reverse the pattern so the picture wound up in the back on the other side. Each of the three trailers had different flowers and walkway tiles. The majority of the picture was done by brush and the finishing touches were airbrushed.

I watched Bill paint a pictoral on a piece of slate last weekend of a bear returning from a river with a salmon in his mouth and being pestered by a couple of sea gulls....outstanding!!! He is now spending his evenings doing portraits of his many letterhead friends....knock me over with a feather! Post em here Bill...I'm sure everyone would enjoy them. I am honored to have him as a friend! Joe, Makin Chips and Havin Fun!
