This was my all time favorite, done some years back.
And a coupla close ups on one of the headings.
In this header I deliberately left black showing through the underpainting.
Notice on this seafood art that it appears to fade back into the background around the edges and under the text, I achieve this by spraying some of the flat black over the edges, because it all dries flat it becomes invisible and helps me create some negative space around the art so it doesn't crowd the board too much.
I also didn't mention that marking out the lines is done with a HB lead pencil as this is the least visible tool. Now if you get marks on the board during the process of the job you can simply spray them out with flat black as described before. Be carefull that you don't get oversparay where you dont want it. This paint is fairly heavy bodied so it needs to be thinned somewhat first.
I might be rough mate but I'm bloody slow...

Hey Rob, 'COOL' Koala, glad you decided to share! By the way: 'rough' was the term given to unshaded-squigley or harsh lines as in your boards when I learnt chalkboard.

If I knew how to just stare with my mouth open and have you understand my appreciation without me needing to type this it would be better. But being what it is....WOW! Thanks for the show and the demo.
