I aint a corel expert, but far as I know, you don't need a dongle to cut from corel. I am sure others will tell you how it works.

All you need is the correct roland driver. It will install your cutter as if it were a printer. Do a search and you can probably find the link to the roland site to download it.

Good Luck....

A dongle is a device which manufacturers use to restrict how many computers are able to use a software program. Dedicated signmaking programs use dongle protection.

A dongle is not a magic device that allows you to be able to send files from CorelDraw to a cutter.

A "driver" for the cutter is what is needed. Signmaking programs contain drivers for all the major brands of cutters. "Bridge programs" also contain drivers for cutters. If you want to cut from Corel then the cheapest way to go is with a bridge program.

However, if you happen to have a Roland cutter then you can download a driver from their website and it will allow you to cut directly from Corel.

As was mentioned in one of your earlier requests for a "dongle", have a look at the following page and it will explain how to go about doing what you want to do. BUT it only applied to Roland cutters! To my knowledge they are the only cutter manufacturer that provides a driver that actually works properly.

Good luck, and I trust this clears up your confusion about "dongles"
