One of my political candidate customers would like some 18x24 signs on coroplast, but would like them to be star shaped. I was wondering if anyone sells them in that shape. Grimco has some shapes, but not a five sided star. And, before you say cut them yourself, he wants a hundred of them. Any help appreciated.

Hi John, Companies that make corrugated cardboard boxes can die cut coroplast. Call one in your area to see if they'll do it for ya. Cheers, Duncan
I would make a metal template and cut them with a utility knife. Give one of your kids 50 cents a piece to cut them out. Or your out of work brother-in-law.
I suppose you could cut them with a sabre saw but I have seen what happens when you do do. The results can be less than satisfactory.
You could look into having them routed out with a CNC router. You could use a female template and use a hand held router with a collar on it.
Heck, send them to me and I'll do them! hahahahaha! I'm home sick with the flu. So is Dana. The 50 cents a piece just ought to cover the medicine bill!
Have a great one!

I have routed fluted plastic for our former retail store, but the edge quality was nothing to brag about. The top and bottom cut clean, but the little supports in the center don't rout off clean, leaving a fuzzy edge.
If you have a little table router, you could try a piece to see how you like the result. It it is ok then just make a template and cut them with a pilot bit.
It is a good idea to blunt the points of the stars, also.
