i'm bidding a sign job that requires replacing 6 large Plexi sign faces on a lighted sign. i'm guessing that this is a bucket truck kind of job? i know its more than i've ever done. i can help, but i want to have an installer who's done this before.
the signs are all stacked up together and are about 18 feet high, total. the bottom of the lowest sign is 18' from the sidewalk and the top of the highest is 36'. the largest piece is about 3' x 10' vertical.
location is downtown San Francisco. (6th street... the "wine country"...)

Doesn't sound like much of a problem. Rent the needed equipment get a helper and go for it. I've never run into a rigid sign face I couldn't change there's not too many ways to hold the faces in typically take off retainers and slide faces out. You can rent a lift with two man and cargo capacity that's all you should need. I would though bid the job with lexan panels, a bit more money but well worth it if you happen to have to watch one of those 3X10's go for a ride if the wind comes up and SF can be windy. Love to come to Ca and help, have a lot of friends in the bay area (Vacaville/Fairfield) but alas I'm stuck in Pa under a mound of work that I can hear calling me back....
