Does anyone have a supplier for billboard flex faces. (Printed Banners) 12' width x ? at wholesale prices? We are taking calls for them and can't compete. My cost is twice my competitors list. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Rick, Ultralon IV, by Arlon, is available in very wide seamless widths. It's meant for long term outdoor, so not sure whether it's going to be price competitive enough for you. I would assume there's a distributor in your area, or Arlon's headquarters are in Santa Ana, CA.
Good luck! Doug Gossoo

Rick, If you're looking for blank flex, Formetco sells them to the billboard industry, Just about any large format producer will sell you custom sized flex material. I don't have the number for Formetco here at the house. Check in Sign Biz, SOTT, or Sign Builder.

And you probably will never be able to compete. My partner and I hung over 425 flex faces last year. The going price at the begining of the year was around $1.25-$1.30 a sq.ft.. By the end of the year it was around $1.00 a sq.ft.. Can you buy just the substrate for $1.00 a sq.ft.?? I can't. Then you have to buy ink to put on it. And a printer to print it with. The people with the $500,000 machines who buy ink by the barrel and fabric by the roll never turn them off and you can't compete with that. The best thing to do is find yourself a supplier and mark thier price up a little. If you are looking for 12'X ? signs you are probably looking to sell to outdoor ad company. These people usually know where to get the cheapest stuff and with the bigger companies buying the smaller ones, thier reach is far. Good luck
PS I could give you a few names to check out supply wise, but I don't have any info here. Formetco prints flex but I havn't used any of thier stuff. We use a lot of Big Mountain. They are in Penn. so there might be close enough for you. Give me a few days and I can give you a few names.
