We are positively buried under snow at this point. Yahoooooooo!
I hauled hubby out of bed as he was also off today, and informed him Cody and I were due for a sleigh ride pulled by his 4x4. So out we went!
Wow, snow everywhere! I had planned on him spinning around in our fields, but he didn't want to get stuck, so along the long deserted country roads we went!
Yes, totally illegal, but what the hey. It NEVER snows here. And we have the ultimate sleigh from 2 yrs ago, sits higher than snow level so you stay dry.
Cody and I are laughing and giggling along while the snow lands in our faces when suddenly, who do we see crusing along towards us... a police car. DOH!!!!!!!!!!
We indeed got stopped and got heck, but thankfully this cop had snow fever today, smiled at us and went on his way. Whew!
We were suppose to get rain today, but it hasn't quit snowing all day. Dan, thank you so much for your snow. This is YOUR snow you've sent, isn't it??
Cheryl, how's your weather? Anyone else near here getting majorly dumped on? It's so beautiful!

I'm in Southern California and it's FREEZING! Well, okay (sheepish grin), a Californian's idea of freezing (in the 50s and very windy). 72 is about the norm for here this time of the year. It SNOWED in the San Francisco area this week! Mother Nature sure is having a good laugh, isn't she?

Well Lucky you Donna! Last night it looked like a big snowfall....but this morning when we got up it had warmed up and was raining! Bummer for the kids.....they wanted to skip school. Enjoy the snow while you can. Spring is on it's way.

Hey Donna! We got another 6" today and it's still snowing. I shot another couple of rolls of film at Giggle Ridge and it looked beautiful half buried under the snow.
I hear the rain is supposed to start tomorrow though so we should be back to normal by the weekend.
I'm glad you had fun and didn't get busted too bad.

After 25 years in Jackosn Hole the novelity of snow for me has worn off. If any one needs some let me know and I'll send it FedEx overnight.
Also any of you who are too warm, let me know and I'll send some of our -25F air to ya!
We don't have facilities inside (yet) to sandblast so we blast out back of the building in the parking lot. I blasted yesterday. Nothing like blasting when it's 4F below zero. So cold my shield in my helmet kept icing up! Moisture in the silica (even just a little) causes it to lump and stick in the pot. Oh well! Us old cowboys are used to doing things the hard way! I'll try and take some pics today of our snow and post them.
I took some great pictures at giggle ridge of the snow on my concrete sculptures. I fully realize that they pale in comparison to your pictures but mainly because I don't have someone as cute as Cody to pose in the snow.
One of these years I'll be a grandpa and then you will be left in the dust!
