Hey Ron, I don't have an answer, but an anticdote about "Red Ball 76". When I was about 10 years old (c-1964) my mom, who is a great kidder, pulled into a 76 station and told the guy "I don't need any gas, but I could go for some of those red balls". I wasn't even aware of all the inuendo that made it so funny to her. We were all very surprised when the fella says "sure" and whips out two handfulls of red 'super balls' - one for each of the six kids in the car. You know those hard rubber super-bounce balls that were very new at the time. Those suckers could bounce forever and getting six of them going simultaneously in that old Rambler wagon kept us busy all the way home.

Superballs were great, the first ones I remember were Black and about 2" diameter. Probably be worth hundreds now.
